Chris Decker founded the first of the C Decker Companies, Pacific Parks Landscaping, Inc. in 1994 based on the core values of teamwork, integrity and commitment. Today, the C Decker Companies include construction landscaping, landscape maintenance, and a nursery division in northern California and Nevada. Chris’ vision was to provide valuable services to clients by delivering quality landscape projects such as schools, hospitals, retail centers and sporting venues.

Chris Decker was born in Orange, California in 1966 and in July, 2016, he unexpectedly passed away. Throughout Chris’ 49 years, he enjoyed working with the local community primarily through youth sports. He was the president of the junior football organization for several years and his drive and enthusiasm was contagious regardless of who he interacted with.

Chris married his wife, Nancy. in 1993 and during that time they raised 6 children together.

Chris’ insistence on quality of service, hard work, and responsiveness to client needs remains the company credo and continues to be the basis for its success in a competitive construction industry.

It is striking how much the C Decker Companies have changed over the years, but how much it has also stayed the same. Chris instilled in all of his employees that our companies need to adapt to the needs of a changing world, and rise to meet its challenges.
